Prayer Shawl Ministry

We began a prayer shawl ministry at the end of December 2008 and have been meeting twice a month ever since in the church fellowship hall. There are about 10 to 16 women who come regularly to pray and create prayer shawls, to be given to someone with a need for spiritual or physical healing or some kind of comfort. The prayer shawl provides that comfort in a very tangible way. So far we have given out 25 prayer shawls to various individuals. We meet on the second and forth Wednesdays of each month at 1:00 to 3:00 pm.
